Liam J. Bannon
Liam J. Bannon is Professor of Computer Science in the Dept. of Computer Science and Information Systems and Director of the Interaction Design Centre at the University of Limerick, Ireland. He has held appointments in several Universities in Canada, the USA, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, France, Italy and The Netherlands. His research is in conceptual foundations of human-centred design, with a focus on collaborative practices, participatory design, and evaluation issues, and has published in the HCI, CSCW, Interaction Design and Information Systems research fields.
He is a founding editor of the CSCW Journal, and is serving, or has served, on the editorial boards of several other Journals.
Christy Dena
Christy Dena is a PhD candidate at the University of Sydney. Her research investigates shifts in the creation of works in the age of cross-media production. Her study focuses on the rhetoric of transmedia writing across all art forms. She is a strategist for film, TV, web and print practitioners and has mentored for the Laboratory of Advanced Media Production (LAMP). She is currently a co-mentor for the Booranga Writing Centre’s six-month Youth Online Writing Workshop (YOWW). She writes about new media arts for RealTime magazine and on virtual world arts for Slate Night Magazine. She lectures and tutors on cross-media entertainment, new media arts theory and game-design to tertiary students in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
